Relapse Exploit

A new jailbreak exploit for the PlayStation 5 has been made public, shared on GitHub under the name Relapse. If it works as claimed, it would let users run unsigned code on Sony's console, a milestone given the PS5 has resisted jailbreaks far longer than earlier PlayStations. Hackers and modders are discussing what firmware versions it affects and what homebrew it could enable.

A new PS5 jailbreak called Relapse has been released, supporting firmware versions 7.00 through 13.60 and working on the PS5 Pro. It allows users to run homebrew software, including Switch emulation. However, its usefulness is limited by Sony's frequent firmware updates, as some game updates already require newer firmware versions, which would break the exploit and force users to choose between jailbreak access and playing the latest titles.
