Sarala

A developer has released Sarala, an open-source editor that lets users write Markdown through a what-you-see-is-what-you-get interface, removing the need to type formatting syntax by hand. A demo is available online and the project is being shared with the Hacker News community for feedback, with early engagement from developers interested in Markdown tooling.
