Sarala

A developer has released Sarala, an open-source editor that combines WYSIWYG editing with Markdown. Users write in a rich-text interface while the tool handles Markdown formatting underneath, aiming to remove the friction of writing syntax by hand. The project is being shared with the developer community for feedback, and early discussion centers on its usefulness for writers who want visual editing without giving up plain-text portability.
