Researchers have identified three previously unknown species of pseudoscorpions living in caves in Guangxi, southern China. The tiny arachnids, found in isolated karst cave systems, add to the region's reputation as a hotspot for subterranean biodiversity. The discovery highlights how little is still known about cave ecosystems and the specialized species that evolve in them, and may draw attention to conservation of Guangxi's fragile underground habitats.
