Swampscott

Students in Swampscott have launched a science project called 'Big Blue', an ocean float deployed in the Pacific Ocean that turns the open sea into an extension of their classroom. The float is expected to let pupils track real ocean data from Massachusetts, connecting their lessons to ongoing voyages and marine research far from home.
