The Chicks

Wildlife photographers in Melbourne are celebrating the arrival of tawny frogmouth chicks, sharing photos of the fluffy young birds perched with their parents. The sightings have drawn warm responses from Australian birdwatching communities, with people swapping locations and tips on spotting the famously well-camouflaged species, whose babies typically appear in spring.

The Chicks celebrated the 20th anniversary of their 2006 album Taking the Long Way with a performance at Chicago's Auditorium Theatre. The album, featuring hits like Not Ready to Make Nice, marked a turning point in the band's career. Fans and local press covered the anniversary show as a milestone for the country trio.
