Thunder Basin National Grassland

Fire restrictions were rescinded on September 28 across the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and the Thunder Basin National Grassland in Wyoming. The lifting of the restrictions means campfires and other activities previously banned due to elevated wildfire risk are permitted again, as conditions have improved enough for forest managers to ease the rules for visitors and recreationists.
