Tim Boese

Tim Boese's painting "Field of Pink Lilies" places a single Oriental lily against a repeating field of blooms. Viewers note the tiny freckles and rust-colored anthers that draw the eye to pollen-dusted cores, with translucent layers and a porcelain sheen letting cool light slip between the folds and give the flower a sense of energy.
