The University of Oxford has agreed to let OpenAI train its AI models on material from the Bodleian Library, one of the world's largest academic collections. The partnership has drawn criticism within the university, where staff have voiced concerns about the reputational risk of working with the company behind ChatGPT and questions over how historic texts will be used.
