Jon Watts has been set to direct the next Star Wars film, according to Variety. Watts, best known for helming Marvel's recent Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland, takes on one of the biggest jobs in franchise filmmaking as Lucasfilm continues to expand the big-screen future of the Star Wars saga.
