Waitress

Seattle station KEXP played The Green Pajamas' track 'Kim The Waitress' during its local-music program Audioasis, with the song linked on Bandcamp and Spotify. The band are longtime veterans of the Pacific Northwest underground scene, and Aircheck listeners noted the spin as a nod to homegrown Seattle rock.

The Waitress 10th Anniversary Tour is set to play San Francisco's Orpheum Theatre, bringing the Sara Bareilles musical back to the city a decade after its Broadway premiere. The anniversary staging gives Bay Area fans a new chance to see the hit show about a pie-maker chasing a fresh start, and theatre outlets are spreading word of the booking.
