Whitney union workers

Unionized staff at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York plan to walk off the job on October 5. The announcement came from the New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO, signaling organized labor's support for the museum workers. The strike would halt normal operations at one of the city's leading art institutions as contract talks stall.
