A common home networking problem is making the rounds: a Wi-Fi repeater wired to the router by LAN still delivers only around 90 Mbit/s to devices in the room. The usual culprit is an old cable or a network port limited to 100 Mbit/s somewhere in the chain, which sets a hard ceiling no matter how fast the internet connection is.
