Wolvega

Several chain-reaction collisions have been reported across the Netherlands. Vehicles crashed on a busy bridge over the IJssel, while on the A59 near Waalwijk an accident with injuries caused major delays. A pile-up on the A32 near Wolvega left one person injured, and separately a van hit several lampposts on the A7 near Bolsward, injuring the driver. Traffic jams built up on the affected motorways as emergency services cleared the scenes.
