collaborative robots

Eli Lilly and Purdue University are set to present joint field learnings on human-robot interaction at the RoboBusiness conference. The two organisations will share practical insights from deploying robots in real-world settings, offering attendees lessons on how people and robots work together. The session highlights growing industry interest in applied robotics across pharmaceuticals and academia.

A Xinhua feature asks what happens when robots join students in the laboratory, exploring how automated systems and AI-powered machines are increasingly working alongside humans in science education and research. The piece considers how students and scientists adapt to robotic colleagues, and what the shift means for hands-on training and collaboration in labs.
