dbx

An open-source project called dbx, written in Rust, is drawing interest on GitHub for offering a cross-platform database client in just 25 MB. It supports more than 100 databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Redis, MongoDB, DuckDB, SQL Server and China's Dameng, with a desktop app, Docker image, CLI, built-in AI assistant and MCP server. Developers are sharing it as a lightweight alternative to heavier database management tools.
