Artificial Analysis has released version 1.0 of its Decision Index, a new benchmark intended to help evaluate how well AI models perform on decision-making tasks. The index expands the group's comparisons of language models beyond standard reasoning and knowledge tests. Early readers are discussing what the metric measures and how it might rank leading models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others.
