ferns

Photographs from Rovaniemi, on the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland, show ostrich ferns growing in large, funnel-shaped fronds on moist, nutrient-rich soil. The images, shared by a nature enthusiast on 3 August 2026, highlight the plant's typical habitat in Scandinavia's damp forests. They are drawing modest attention from hikers and plant lovers interested in Lapland's summer flora.
