Social media users critical of Donald Trump are circulating posts calling truth 'the kryptonite' of what they label the 'TrumpVirus', accusing him of corruption, nepotism, kleptocracy and constitutional violations. The rhetoric frames accountability, law and civility as antidotes, and urges collective action to 'wash away' what posters describe as evil and a political cult.

A social media post criticizing a wave of pro-Trump advertising on television and other media is drawing attention. The post, shared on Mastodon, describes the ads as dark, delusional propaganda portraying Donald Trump as uniquely great, and mentions receiving promotional texts as well. The poster says they will not respond to the messages. The item reflects ongoing frustration among some users with the volume of political advertising in the US.
