Wildlife cameras and tracking show elk and pronghorn antelope are regularly using a wildlife overpass in Douglas County, Colorado, crossing safely over a busy roadway. The animals' adoption of the bridge is being cited as evidence that the structure is doing its job, reducing collisions and reconnecting habitat. It adds to growing US experience that wildlife crossings can successfully guide large mammals across highways.
