The US Department of Agriculture has finalized rule changes that could end federal support for solar projects on farmland. The move, reported by Civil Eats, would affect programs that have helped farmers install solar panels. Environmental and agricultural groups are watching closely, warning that the changes could slow renewable energy development in rural America.
