A robotics executive described a humanoid robot product as a 'member of the workforce', drawing criticism from observers who argue the framing is misleading. Critics say the machine, despite its human-like shape, remains a tool no different from a power drill or circular saw, and that marketing it as a co-worker overstates its capabilities and blurs public understanding of what current robotics can actually do.
