uutils coreutils

OpenBSD developers have declined to adopt the Uutils coreutils port, citing licensing and compatibility concerns. The Rust-based rewrite of GNU coreutils had been floated for inclusion in the OpenBSD base system, but maintainers decided against it, keeping the project's traditional toolset. The decision is drawing discussion among developers about licensing trade-offs and the wisdom of replacing long-standing Unix utilities with Rust alternatives.
