Aichi Prefectural Police

Police in Aichi Prefecture have arrested two junior high school students over the so-called 'Nagoya Ride' trend. A 14-year-old from Seto was rearrested on suspicion of obstructing traffic after reportedly swerving his bicycle in front of a patrol car, while a teenager from Kasugai was arrested for allegedly ignoring officers' directions, stopping in front of a police car and flashing a peace sign. The arrests mark the latest police response to the viral nuisance-riding problem in the Nagoya area.
