Alice & Bob

French quantum computing company Alice & Bob has tested three cat-qubit chips, according to a report from Quantum Zeitgeist. Cat qubits are a superconducting qubit design that suppresses bit-flip errors, a key obstacle in building fault-tolerant quantum computers. The testing of multiple chips marks a step in the company's hardware validation efforts, though detailed performance results have not been released.
