Amravati

The Congress party has named Aditi Pohare as its candidate for the Maharashtra Legislative Council from the Amravati graduates constituency, a seat previously associated with actor-turned-politician Navneet Rana's circle. The nomination is drawing attention in Maharashtra political circles as parties finalise candidates for the biennial council elections, with questions circulating about who Pohare is and her political background.
