Anne of Burgundy, born on this day in 1404, was a daughter of John the Fearless, Duke of Burgundy. Under the 1423 Treaty of Amiens she was married to John of Lancaster, son of England's Henry IV, a union meant to tie Burgundy to England during the Hundred Years' War. History enthusiasts are marking her birthday and her role in Anglo-Burgundian politics.
