Annemasse

Geneva's tram line 17 is being extended with three new stops to connect Geneva with Annemasse, across the border in France. The cross-border link aims to improve daily commutes for the many workers travelling between the Geneva area and the French Haute-Savoie region. Swiss media outlet 20 Minutes reported the project, and the extension is drawing attention locally as a step towards better Franco-Swiss public transport integration.
