Artober

Artists taking part in Artober, a month-long daily drawing challenge, are posting works on the second day's theme, library. Participants are sharing sketches and illustrations of books, reading rooms and libraries under art and drawing tags, with book lovers in the bookstodon community joining in the conversation.

ArtOberfest and Chalk the Block are scheduled to take place on Saturday, according to the Marietta Times. The arts events combine into a community celebration featuring chalk art and seasonal festivities, drawing residents and artists to participate in the day's activities.
