BSW-Solar

Germany generated as much solar energy by the end of September as it did during the whole of 2025, according to industry association BSW-Solar. The group also noted this is nearly three times more solar power than Australia produced over the same period. The figures are being shared as a sign of how quickly Germany's solar capacity is expanding and of the country's pace in the energy transition.
