Barbary Macaque

A wildlife photograph of the Barbary Macaque, an endangered primate native to North Africa and Gibraltar, is circulating among photographers and nature enthusiasts under travel and wildlife tags. The macaque is the only wild monkey species in Europe, making it a popular subject for nature photographers. Little additional discussion has developed around the image so far.
