International Day of Rural Women is being marked with attention to the documentary Greener Pastures, which follows four multigenerational farming families, including figures such as Becky Higgins and Melissa, to show the daily realities of rural life. Educators and advocates are using the film to spotlight the critical roles and contributions rural women make to farming and their communities.
