Berck

Two migrant men, aged 34 and 45, have died overnight after a dinghy carrying around 120 people set off from Berck beach in northern France. Two women were also taken to hospital suffering petrol burns. The deaths add to the growing toll from attempted small-boat crossings, drawing renewed attention to the dangers of the route and the French authorities' ability to stop overloaded launches.
