Construction has started on a Bruce Highway upgrade following a triple fatal crash in Queensland. The Courier Mail reports shovels are in the ground on the long-promised road project, which aims to improve safety on one of the state's deadliest corridors. The deaths have renewed pressure on governments to fast-track upgrades to the highway.
