The US Space Force is considering developing a proliferated satellite constellation operating in cislunar space, the region between Earth orbit and the Moon. The concept would rely on many smaller satellites rather than a few large ones, improving resilience. Details about timing, budget or specific missions have not yet been made public, leaving observers waiting for more information about the proposed architecture.
