Catamounts

The Catamounts are back in competition this weekend at the Mercer Gridiron Classic, hosted by Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. The event marks the team's return to action after a break in their schedule. Details on opponents, results and lineups were not immediately available, with the program directing fans to its athletics site for updates.

Western Carolina University's men's golf team finished ninth at the Badger Invitational after a strong final round. The result adds to the Catamounts' fall season as the squad continues building momentum ahead of upcoming tournaments. Fans of the program are following the team's progress under its current lineup early in the season.

WCAX, the Vermont television station, is airing a special program called 'Catamount Corner' at 6:30 pm tonight. As a result, the station's regular 6 pm newscast will be shortened. Viewers planning to watch the evening news should expect an earlier end time before the special begins.
