Central Oregon Community College

Central Oregon Community College officials and students are weighing contingency plans as faculty remain poised to walk off the job Monday. The question of how classes and campus operations would continue during a strike has drawn attention across the region, with the college outlining what learners can expect if picket lines form and negotiations with the faculty union fail to produce a deal.

Faculty at Central Oregon Community College are organizing a 'Last Chance Rally' as a strike deadline approaches. The rally is intended to show faculty resolve in contract negotiations and press for a resolution before any walkout begins. Details of the specific demands and the exact strike date were not included in the report.
