Cloppenburg

A lottery player from the Cloppenburg district in Lower Saxony has won €302,000. The win reportedly came close to the jackpot, with only the Superzahl missing. German news outlet NWZonline covered the story, which has drawn local attention to the region's latest lucky winner and how narrowly the bigger prize slipped away.
