Common European Asylum System

Asylum is back in the German news. Tagesschau reports that court cases over asylum status in Germany are once again taking longer to be decided, adding to backlogs in the system. Separately, the Nürnberger Land region is offering an online training course on the new Common European Asylum System, aimed at helping local staff and volunteers understand the updated EU rules on protection and migration.
