Confucius

A mural by Charles Sprague Pearce in the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress carries the inscription: "Give instruction unto those who cannot procure it for themselves." The quote is attributed to Confucius. People are discussing the artwork and how the ancient Chinese philosopher's words about education found a place in one of America's most important cultural institutions.
