Daiki Hashimoto

Japan's men's gymnastics team won gold at the World Championships, securing their ticket to the Los Angeles Olympics. Daiki Hashimoto, the reigning three-time all-around champion, led the squad to the title. Japanese sports media are celebrating the victory as a strong step toward the 2028 Games.

Japan successfully defended their men's team title at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2026, led by star gymnasts Hashimoto Daiki and Oka Shinnosuke. The victory confirms Japan's status as the leading force in men's artistic gymnastics heading toward the next Olympic cycle, with both Hashimoto and Oka once again central to the team's success.

Japanese gymnast Daiki Hashimoto is drawing attention for his training approach, which combines physical practice with mental practice — two preparation methods aimed at the same competitive goal. The topic is being shared in the context of the gymnastics calendar leading toward the 2026 World Championships in Rotterdam and the road to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
