Danish consortium

A Danish consortium has secured a contract to build four naval vessels capable of both environmental protection duties and minelaying. The dual-role ships reflect a growing trend toward multifunctional naval designs that combine peacetime tasks such as pollution response with wartime mine-laying capability. Details on the buyer, timeline and contract value have not been made public in initial reporting.
