Prime Minister Andy Burnham has defended UK sanctions imposed on companies involved with Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory. Critics are pressing him to go further, asking when his government will act against companies named in the revised United Nations Human Rights Council database of settlement-linked businesses, citing firms such as Delek Group Ltd, an Israeli services and utilities company.
