Bogong moths have returned, prompting celebration among nature watchers in Australia. Writing in the Guardian, a commentator argues the moths should be seen as a blessing rather than an inconvenience, and possibly a sign that the environment is recovering. The moths, famous for their annual migration to the Australian Alps, have suffered sharp declines in recent years, so their reappearance is being welcomed as encouraging news for conservation.
