Spain's Valencia region is under an orange alert for torrential rain, flooding and storms from Thursday to Friday, issued by AEMET and the regional 112 emergency service. Valencia has suspended classes in part of the region on Thursday and Friday. In Catalonia, civil protection sent an ES-Alert phone warning to Baix Empordà, while firefighters in l'Horta Nord are monitoring waterways.
