Fargo Public Schools says a technology glitch caused a mass notification telling families that district buildings were in a 'secure building' status, prompting concern among parents. The district clarified the alert was sent in error and that no actual threat to students or staff occurred. Officials have not detailed whether the messaging system has been fixed to prevent repeats.
