Fausto Brizzi

Fausto Brizzi, the Italian screenwriter and director known for comedies such as 'Notte prima degli esami', is generating renewed attention in Italy. The Italian director, who was acquitted in 2021 of sexual assault charges after a high-profile trial, is being searched and discussed widely, with local coverage referencing his work including 'Quasi Vera'.

Taylor Mega and comedian Frank Matano appeared in Frosinone to present 'Quasi Vera', the new film by director Fausto Brizzi. The comedy plays with the boundary between reality and appearance, a theme that has drawn attention given Mega's own public persona as a reality-TV and social media personality. Italian outlets covering the event have focused on how the film blurs the line between fiction and the cast's real lives.
