Frank Tiberi

Impulse Records is releasing previously unheard recordings of John Coltrane, captured by saxophonist Frank Tiberi, as part of celebrations marking the jazz legend's centenary. The tapes, known as the Tiberi tapes, offer new material from one of jazz's most influential figures decades after his death. Jazz fans and musicians are excited by the prospect of fresh Coltrane performances surfacing.
