Freedom Park

Cambodia's law governing so-called 'freedom parks' has restricted citizens' ability to assemble and protest, according to reporting by Global Voices. The law, nominally designed to designate spaces for public demonstrations, has in practice been used to limit where and how people can voice dissent, drawing criticism from rights observers concerned about shrinking civic space in the country.
