Mexico's antitrust regulator, CNA, has given OXIO up to one year to complete its acquisition of Movistar's Mexican operations from Telefónica. Under the approval, OXIO will also take ownership of GTAC. The deal marks a major reshaping of Mexico's telecom market, with Telefónica exiting the country as the US-backed operator takes over its mobile business.
